Hostal Les Fonts

Second year we've been in August to escape the Barcelona heat for a few nights. Our dog is welcome, the food is delicious and the surroundings unbeatable. A friendly, family run place where you can truly relax.

Yesterday we returned from a trip to Fonts del Llobregat and stopped at this wonderful place for lunch. High up in the mountains, surrounded by stunning nature and breathtaking views, you’ll find this charming hotel-restaurant. The restaurant itself is very clean, well cared for, and tastefully decorated, giving it a special charm and cozy atmosphere. Comfortable leather seating runs along the walls, the windows have lovely, homey curtains, and the tables are set with pleasant leather mats. The true star of the place is the large round fireplace in the center of the dining room. It gives off a pleasant warmth and the soft crackling of burning wood — so relaxing that you simply don’t want to leave. The food was delicious, real homemade-style cooking. We especially loved the duck with apple purée, the eggs with mushrooms and bacon, and the magnificent ice cream with liqueur. The coffee was wonderful too! Many thanks to Adam for the excellent service — everything we needed appeared at our table before we even thought to ask: wet wipes, cutlery, water, and a little welcome bowl of olives. Adam also shared with us the story of the beautiful fireplace. We’ll be delighted to come back here — not just to the restaurant, but to stay at the hotel too. Very nice and helping hosts! Breakfasts and the food in a restaurant exceptionally good plus a very personalised service! A place has a lot of charm, next to a waterfall and the walking pathways in the mountains. Such a lovely view from the rooms on the mountains. Nice area around to relax: garden and swimming pool. And you can come also with your pets! Really paradise! Thank you for hosting us!

I loved my stay here!! After a long day of cycling I was very happy to arrive. The staff made me feel so welcome! They put my bike in a safe space and gave me a lovely room. The dinner and breakfast were excellent! And I love that there was a fireplace in the dining room. I highly recommend the homemade cannelloni, so yummy! After dinner I had a cup of tea and they prepared it for me on a tray so I could take it to my room. Loved that!

We had an amazing lunch here of veal cheeks and roast lamb shoulder. Proper Catalán mountain cuisine. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and knowledgeable, and truly want you to have a fun time. Thank you!

This hostel is actually a really nice hotel. Really nice breakfast and really good food for dinner. If you decide to stay here for easy access to La Molina/Masella consider renting the skis beforehand as it's almost one hour before you finish your breakfast until you manage to find a parking spot in La Molina

We loved everything - especially Carla and the staff. Wood burning fire places in a cozy off the path location. Eclectically decorated with lots of character! The rooms were a good size, clean and with amazing views. Lots of hiking and outdoors actives around. The staff is so accommodating!! Ask for a price list - things are not priced individually and the final bill was a little higher then we expected though worth every penny.
